Small Mobile Robot Pool

Sponsored by the Joint Robotics Program of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SSC San Diego), the Small Mobile Robot Pool provides government agencies at all levels with the opportunity to evaluate and experiment with small mobile robots within their own unique operational domains.

The Small Mobile Robot Pool will make loans of robot assets (generally not to exceed four months) subject to the availability of the robots, as well as to the urgency of the user's need. Eligible borrowers include agencies of local, state, and federal governments, who have an approved loan application on file.

During the loan periods, SSC San Diego will assist the borrowing agencies with advice, robot maintenance, and training if necessary, at no cost to the agencies.
