Commercialization
Bringing the research community and private industry together to put affordable, market-driven technologies into the hands of public safety officials is a major focus of the Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization (OLETC).
OLETC has a dedicated staff of law enforcement and corrections professionals, product managers, engineers, and market research specialists that identify new product concepts and help get them manufactured and distributed. As a result of this collaboration, The West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation and it's Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization with funding from the National Institute of Justice has developed the Tech Product Network (TPN). This is a free, web-based product information and knowledge portal that showcases law enforcement and corrections products currently available to agencies as well as those products transitioning from Federal laboratories into the civilian marketplace. To learn more, visit the TPN web site at www.techproductnetwork.com.
To see how OLETC can help you develop your innovative ideas, visit the OLETC web site at www.oletc.org or call them at 888-306-5382.
